Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor, popular for his roles on the famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. His interest in acting began during his college years. He completed his acting studies at University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been in films as well as on TV however, it's his character actors on smaller screens that have given him popularity. His ability to portray characters on both sides of law is a draw for audiences. When he first appeared on television, for his debut production, he played the role of a serial killer. Later he portrayed the character of an NYPD detective. He was repeatedly nominated for the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. The piercing, blue eyes which can be said to help him look handsome. They've assisted in play rough characters in a charismatic way. People's magazine's 2006 list for Sexiest Men Alive included him.
