Selena Gomez's worldwide fame as an actress and a singer is undisputed. Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place was among Selena's most viewed projects. Selena Marie Gomez's full name is Selena Marie Gomez. Selena Marie Gomez was born Grand Prairie in Texas on July 22 in 1992. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were the parents of Selena. Her mother Amanda Cornett was 16 when Selena was conceived. In the year 2009, she landed her first role in the show industry as Gianna as Barney and her Friends. This meant she was among many children to have played alongside Barney, the well-known human-like pink dinosaur. Selena performed on a variety of episodes from episodes 7 and 8 in the period between 2001 and 2003. Selena was not the only one to be featured in Barney and his Friends during this period. Demi Loveto also worked in the series. Selena Gomez had a few auditions for various films and shows following the conclusion of the show Barney and his Friends. She was not successful. She got a small role in the 2003 movie Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D Game Over) and another like Julie on Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. She was also cast in the role of Emily Grace Garcia, a character she created musical to play in the 2006 film Brain Zapped.
